CLINIC

I work in a clinic room at the bottom of my garden, practising a mix of Japanese manual therapy (Shiatsu and Seitai), acupuncture, physiotherapy exercise prescription and movement coaching.

Sessions are typically 60-90 minutes in length. This allows a comprehensive and unhurried assessment, and a treatment approach that has time for Japanese soft tissue work, acupuncture, exercise prescription and lifestyle and ergonomic advice.

The approach is flexible and can be specific to a musculoskeletal disorder, or more general and aimed at promoting health and well-being holistically.

I share the garden clinic space with my wife, who is an acupuncturist, herbalist and clinical supervisor. Her areas of special interest are family practice, fertility….

"I wanted to mail you to let you know what great treatment I have recently received from Huw Adams.  I have had 9 sessions in total and Huw has worked to bring my RSI arm pain down from probably an 8 to about a 1.
Huw’s manner, professionalism, knowledge, and tenacity to really get to the route of the problem have been super impressive. We worked through massaging the pain area, acupuncture, working on the root cause of the pain (mainly neck), prescribing daily foam roller activities, resistance-band, tennis ball and alpha ball exercises, and the loan of a roller mouse which has also been successful.
I would like to sincerely thank and recognise Huw for helping me with a potentially life altering problem and have been highly recommending Huw to any colleague that mentions a need for physio, massage, etc. I hope that I can now manage my RSI to a level zero but should I have any further issues, RSI or otherwise I would certainly request Huw for further consultation and treatment.
